4th of July DIY Doormat - Free Files Inculded
I had looked high and low and could not find the perfect doormat for Memorial day and the 4th of July season anywhere. I had a left over new blank coir doormat from last year and thought now would be a good time to put it to some use and make my own doormat. You can find blank coir doormats at Home Depot, Walmart, Target, and many other places. I absolutely love how this turned out. The photos make the star look purplish but its actually a deep red, but the BEST part is, I'm sharing the cut files for anyone with a Cricut or Silhouette that might want to make your own (for personal use only).
There are lots of great you tube videos on how to make your own doormat. Its really simple to do. So I'm going to skip the "How To" portion of this but if you need help finding a good video, send me a message and I would be happy to send you some links to videos I liked. You can arrange the wording, and stars however you would like, add some additional stars, or change the colors around. No matter how you make your doormat I would truly LOVE to see how your mat turned out. You can tag us on instagram @joyfullymademarket or #joyfullymademarket, or share it on our facebook page.
Happy Memorial Day weekend, and have fun crafting!
